    Volunteers in Action

    (Delaware)

    Do Good. Serve Others.

Volunteers in Action (VIA) was developed to fill the need that nonprofits have for volunteers and overall community engagement. When founder, Sacoiya Johnson, recognized that nonprofits had been suffering due to lack of volunteer assistance and presence overall through her volunteering at various organizations throughout Ohio. She decided that it was time to apply change and go about viewing volunteerism as not just an individual practice, but a COMMUNITY effort. Whether nonprofits have basic administrative needs or just need some friendly faces to greet guests at an event. VIA is here to do good and help them serve others. The following organizations are a testament to these efforts:

    • Salvation Army of Bowling Green

    • United Way of Wood County

    • Grand Rapids Historical Society

    • Black Swamp Players

    • The Nest

    • Brown Bag Food Project

    • Special Olympics Ohio

    • Children's Resource Center

    • Habitat for Humanity of Wood County
